Make Kitchen Cabinets
The first step in making your cabinets is constructing the back panel. Place the cabinet's front panel on a flat surface, and line up the edges of the rear panel with the cabinet's edges. Next, use a nail gun to nail the back panel to the cabinet. Make sure to aim the nail into the wood so that it is anchored into the side of the piece. Then, you can install the front panel on the cabinet.
Once the back panel is in place, attach the face frame. First, you can attach the face frame with wood glue. Then, use finish nails to secure the face frame to the box. Be sure to fill any nail holes with wood putty. If you choose to use pre-finished plywood, you should use melamine glue instead of wood glue. Once the back panel is finished, attach the face frame and face panels to the sides of the cabinet.
Next, you need to attach the face frame. It will be the front of your cabinet, so it should match the sides of your wardrobe. You can also use wood glue to secure the face frame. You should make sure that the face frame is level and has the same depth as the sides of the cabinet. Afterward, you should screw the front and side panels using pocket screws. You can use plywood to provide a smooth surface for the screws to pass through.
Once you've installed the door and the shelf, you need to install the brackets. Again, you can either buy or make your shelves. You can also install them directly on the pegs using a hand saw. Once you've completed this step, you'll need to attach the doors. After assembling the frames, you can install the doors. Once you're done, you can then attach the bottom panel and the vertical shelving divider.
Now, you can make the cabinet's face panels. You can use any lumber for the front panel. However, it is better to use wide wood. It will make the face frames more noticeable. For this reason, you should carefully measure the dimensions of your face panels. Once you've established the basic measurements of the front and back boards, you can then nail in the vertical support panels and finish the cabinets.
Then, you need to install the shelves. You can install the shelves by putting 2x3s horizontally. First, you should make sure that you cut the 2x3s to match the height of the cabinet. Then, you can attach the twox3s to the studs every 16" O.C., using three-inch-diameter construction screws. It is essential to ensure that the walls are straight and perpendicular to the cabinet.
When making the cabinet, you should start with the side and bottom panels. You will need four panels of 1 by six lumber for the base panel and four boards for the top bracers. Then, you will need to attach the shells and face meetings and then secure the doors. Once these are set, you should connect the face frames. Alternatively, you can add the entries. If you've finished the cabinets, you can now install them yourself.
